Have you ever been punished on CytoNetwork? Yes , For abusing , since then no report
Why do you want to become a staff member? I have been playing on this smp for 2-3 months , i wished to join staff so i can also provide a hand in contributing to the betterment of the server along with being an active members to help out anyone
Have you ever been staff on any other servers? If so, what kind of experience did you have? Yes , I have been staff on a server named basalt smp , it was a smp with mods / plugins , so i have alot of experience from there regarding bugs / glitches people may abuse for their benefit which in turn results in exploitation , i also i was promoted till senior mod there , i left the server because it was shut down due to lack of hosting site
If you were in a situation that you did not know how to handle, what would you do? I would first look into the rulebooks of the server , if i see the punishment / warn it it i would do as said. if this was a server/shutdown i would wait for admins to log on and make sure that people dont panic and make them realise that this situation will be over soon
What would you do if someone was being disrespectful towards you / others? First i would look that is it my fault or theirs , if its mine ill will apologise , if it is their fault , i will address it to them and then get their response , if they still keep abusing me i would have to go according to the rules of the sever and warn them once
Do you have any disabilities?
Do you have any other hobbies besides playing Minecraft? Yes , I am great at academice ( yes its my hobby ) , i can play a guitar , i am a fast writer , and i also like singing
How many staff applications have you made prior to this one? 1 , i wasnt serious back then , but this time i have worked myself up to redo this application
Commitments: Yes , I have commitments regarding my studies , but i would inform the admin well in prior about this.
Do you have leadership skills? In our school , there was a MUN event going on , MUN is model united nations where people are given countrries to represent and a topic to argue / come up with a solution on . i was entirely new to the place where this was going on ( A new school ) , I had only 1-2 allies with me , We are the last ones in the boards ( in terms of member strentgh ) i spent an enitre one week grinding my skills of speech and debate along with my buddies ( members of our team ) , The day was here , we were attacked ( verbally ) by many people yet kept arguing with facts and proofs , we made sure to have the upper chin and never let the fear of being just 3 get into our mind , we had decided that we are going to be the ones to win this event , 1 week of the event , we kept getting better and better , making new allies ( teammates to out team of 3 ) kept getting the upper hand , and finally on the results day it was us 3 that got the 2nd place . For me more than leadership this was Team-ship we all were together into this and what matter was not that we got 2nd and not first , but we got the 2nd despite being the least skilled
[Scenario 1: Handling Rule Breakers] First the player will be called in a ticket along with the member whose base was griefed , the player ( rule breaker ) will be showed the video of him griefing the build/base. Finally he will be given punishment according to the rules ( temp ban or ban if multiple times )
[Scenario 2: Toxicity in Chat] I would begin with trying to stop things before they escalate, If it does , the player being abusing will be warned , and if they still keep abusing they would be muted
[Scenario 3: New Player] I will help the new player by showing them /rtp command to get started , if they are still confused i would add them in my discord and then show them a video ( of me doing /rtp or anything they are confused with ) to them and not leave till i make sure they are satisfied
[Scenario 4: Suspected Cheating] I would call upn the person B ( B thinks A is hacking ) , and demand video evidence from them regarding their report , 1) if it is clear from their video that they are cheating / abusing i will warn them the exploit is like xray , killing ( will refund the one affected ) . if it is serious like fly hacks , base locating hacks , i will temp ban them or what the rulebooks says
[Scenario 5: Ban Appeals] 1> Their appeal should be mainly based on how they went wrong and what made them do this
2> Their appeal should show reflect how they are guilty for doing what they did rather than being arrogant/neglectant about it
3> Their appeal should focus on how they will work on themselves and make sure they donot repeat this
Why should we accept your application over others? Honestly, I possess all the skills and experience that you’re looking for. I’m pretty confident that I am the best candidate for this. On the other hand, I am a self motivated person and I try to exceed my superior’s expectations with high-quality work.
Lastly, I would like to add that I work well both as an individual contributor and also as a team member.
Collectively, all these skills put together makes me a Good holder for this.
