Do you have the ability to record Minecraft videos? Yes, i already have software applications which give the ability to record Minecraft videos, such as clips, normal videos and longform videos if required. (Such as Medal)
Have you ever been punished on CytoNetwork? No, I have not been punished on CytoNetwork as far as i am aware.
Why do you want to become a staff member? I want to become a staff member in CytoNetwork because i have excellent activity, time management, availability and convenience as well as professionalism and maturity. This implicates that i can be very active on helping, assisting or handling disputes within CytoNetwork as i am very active on discord and the internet in general so i can help players/members with questions and also handle situations such as arguments between members.
Have you ever been staff on any other servers? If so, what kind of experience did you have? Yes, i have experience of being a staff members on previous *Discord* servers, although they have no relation with Minecraft. My most note-able experience of being a staff member in another server was in a Roblox-development server known as 'SmartyDEVS' with 24,000+ members in-which i was in all departments. This includes, Ticket Department, Marketplace Moderator and Chat Moderator. Although, I am not a staff member in any other server including discord servers as of right now.
If you were in a situation that you did not know how to handle, what would you do? If hypothetically, I was in a situation which i did not know how to handle, I would ask an higher-ranked staff member or one of my fellow staff colleagues on what to do. After i receive the information, I would take the appropriate actions on what to do in that specific situation.
What would you do if someone was being disrespectful towards you / others? If someone was being disrespectful to me or another member, I would calmly ask them to maintain an professional attitude and if they do not agree and continue to disrespect or insult me/other members, I would take action and confront them with a verbal warning and if they continue to do the action, I would give them a warning or an mute.
Do you have any disabilities? No, I do not have any disabilities.
Do you have any other hobbies besides playing Minecraft? Yes! I have many other ambitions or hobbies other then playing Minecraft such as:
1. Studying
2. Learning Coding
3. Playing outdoor sports such as football
How many staff applications have you made prior to this one? This is my first application to become a official staff member in CytoNetwork.
Commitments: I am a student in real life, So that is the only responsibility i have that may or may not limit my activity as a staff member. Although, i have excellent time management skills which will not make this a problem for my availability as a staff member.
Do you have leadership skills? Yes I do have leadership skills, An example of this would be during when i was a staff member in SmartyDEVS as i stated previously in this staff application. During an funding crisis in SmartyDEVS where we did not have enough funds to host events, giveaways or other processes such as staff payments, I suggested a concept known now as Minimal Monetization 1.0.0 which played a key role in gaining a lot of monetization from members in SmartyDEVS and i gained recognition for my idea and it was successful and operates to this day. This is just one of many examples of my leadership skills shown.
[Scenario 1: Handling Rule Breakers] After gathering the appropriate information and evidence required to confirm that the player/member has broken the server's guidelines, I would take action by doing the appropriate punishment for the rule that the player/member has broken. If they are accused and guilty of griefing in the server, I would request a higher up (or take permission from a higher up and do it myself if i have the permissions) to ban the user after showing them the proof of the user committing the action.
[Scenario 2: Toxicity in Chat] If an heated argument breaks out between players in the server chat and one player is being toxic and offensive towards the other, I would immediately try to de-escalate the situation by asking the users to maintain a professional and nice attitude and if my request is rejected, I would give both the users a verbal warning after getting proof/evidence and if they still do not stop arguing offensively, I would give the users a mute after gathering evidence and proof.
[Scenario 3: New Player] If an new player happens to join the server, I would guide them by inviting them to the official CytoNetwork discord server, where they can read what the server is intended for and about as well the guidelines of the server as well as maintaining a professional and welcoming attitude. If they do not possess a discord account, I would inform them on the rules of the server and how to do basic things such as joining a team, how to get recognized and if they want to, how to become a staff member.
[Scenario 4: Suspected Cheating] If a player 'seems' to be using unfair advantages such as cheats or hacks, I would approach the situation by ensuring that the player IS using cheats. I would do this by observing the player and gathering proof that the player is indeed using unfair means, i would present recordings and screenshots that i have collected as proof that the player is indeed cheating. After it has been proven the player used unfair means, I would present the information to seniors and request them to ban the player.
[Scenario 5: Ban Appeals] If the player was banned for inappropriate behaviour and is looking to appeal they're ban, I would politely deny the appeal request since the player is guilty of their past mistakes and i believe that there are consequences to one's actions whether or not they have shown signs of change.
Why should we accept your application over others? I should be chosen over other candidates/applicants because of the following reasons:
1. I am a very professional and mature person, this shows that i can handle any situation calmly and remain respectful even if the member has insulted or disrespected me.
2. I have excellent problem-solving skills which shows i can resolve any disputes, queries or other forms of questions/problems within the community near instantly.
3. I have amazing creative thinking and innovation, I can suggest ideas and discussions in the staff team about new features or plugins that will keep members engaged.
4. I have a very welcoming and respectful personality, I can guide new players on what to do in the server and teach them the basics and additional information if they ask.
