Why do you want to become a staff member? I would love to become a staff member on your Minecraft server because I have a strong passion for building, decorating, and helping others. I truly enjoy creating unique and aesthetically pleasing builds that enhance the experience for all players. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in helping new players navigate the server and making sure everyone feels welcomed and supported. I believe my skills in both creativity and communication will allow me to contribute positively to the community and create a fun, engaging environment for everyone.im aware you've had to deny alot

Have you ever been staff on any other servers? If so, what kind of experience did you have? Yes I've been a staff on four different servers.ive had horrible experience with people but I've handled them well and I've had very good ones

If you were in a situation that you did not know how to handle, what would you do? If I were in a situation I didn't know how to handle, I would remain calm, gather the necessary information, and consult with other staff members for guidance. I'm always open to learning and ensuring I follow the proper procedures to resolve the issue effectively.

What would you do if someone was being disrespectful towards you / others? I would remain calm and address the situation politely, reminding the player of the server rules. If the behavior continued, I would follow the appropriate disciplinary actions, such as issuing a warning or reporting it to higher staff, to ensure the server remains respectful and enjoyable for everyone.

Commitments: My volleyball I love volleyball and unfortunately won't give it up fo minecraft

Do you have leadership skills? I helped out a friend who was going through a tough time at school. They were struggling with a big project and feeling really stressed out. I could see they were overwhelmed, so I offered to study with them, help organize their notes, and break the project into smaller, easier steps. We worked together for a few hours, and by the end, they felt a lot more confident. It felt good knowing I could help them not just with the schoolwork but also with feeling better about everything.
One time I showed leadership skills was when I was organizing a big Minecraft build with my friends. We wanted to create a huge castle, but it was a lot of work, and everyone was doing their own thing. I stepped up and made a plan, dividing the tasks like gathering resources, building walls, and designing the interior. I kept everyone on track, made sure no one felt lost, and helped out when someone got stuck. It ended up being one of the coolest projects we did because I kept everyone motivated and working together!

[Scenario 1: Handling Rule Breakers] If I were a staff member, I’d review the evidence of griefing and then talk to the player privately to hear their side. If they admit it or there’s no valid reason, I’d follow the server’s rules for punishment, whether it's a warning or ban, and remind them of the importance of following the rules to keep the server fair.

[Scenario 2: Toxicity in Chat] To de-escalate the situation, I would first step in and calmly remind everyone to keep the chat respectful. I’d privately message the toxic player, warning them about their behavior and explaining that it’s against the server rules. If the player continues, I’d issue a formal warning or mute them temporarily. I’d also encourage the other players to report any toxic behavior and remind everyone to keep the environment fun and friendly for everyone.

[Scenario 3: New Player] I’d greet the new player and let them know I’m available to help. I’d explain the basic rules and gameplay mechanics, making sure they understand how things work on the server. I’d also point them to any resources like guides or tutorials. To make them feel welcome, I’d encourage them to ask questions if they’re unsure about anything and introduce them to a few players who can help. I’d check in with them later to see how they’re doing and if they need any more assistance.

[Scenario 4: Suspected Cheating] If I noticed a player using cheats or hacks, I’d first gather clear evidence, like screenshots or server logs, to confirm the behavior. Then, I’d privately message the player, letting them know that cheating is against the server rules and asking if they’re aware of it. If they admit to it or there’s solid evidence, I’d follow the server’s rules and issue a warning or ban, depending on the severity. I’d also remind the player about the importance of fair play and keeping the server fun for everyone.

[Scenario 5: Ban Appeals] I’d carefully review the player’s ban history and the reason for their ban to understand the seriousness of their previous actions. I’d also consider the tone and sincerity of their appeal, looking for signs that they genuinely understand their past mistakes. If they’ve shown a real commitment to change and provided a valid plan for better behavior, I might consider a temporary unban with close monitoring. However, if the player’s past behavior was severe or their appeal doesn’t seem sincere, I’d likely uphold the ban to maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone

Why should we accept your application over others? I believe my application stands out because I’m genuinely committed to maintaining a positive, fair, and fun environment for everyone on the server. I have good communication skills, am able to stay calm in tense situations, and know how to handle conflicts without escalating them. I’m also active, reliable, and always willing to help others, whether it's guiding new players or enforcing the rules. I’m passionate about creating a friendly community, and I’m ready to contribute to making the server a great place for everyone.

Is there anything else that you would like to add to your application? I’d just like to add that I’m fully dedicated to helping the server grow and thrive. I understand the importance of fairness and respect, and I’m always open to feedback on how I can improve as a staff member. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with the team and contribute to a positive player experience. I’ll always be proactive in addressing issues and ensuring that everyone feels welcome and supported on the server.

Hello @Faye.was_t4ken,

Thank you for your interest in joining our team as staff and for taking the time to submit your application. We regret to inform you that we won't be moving forward with your candidacy at this time.

Feedback for future opportunities
You have shared several skills for the role and ideas and approaches on how to handle different situations as a staff member. However, we noticed that you are not meeting the specified requirements listed here. The usage of Large AI Language Models is strictly prohibited.

For future opportunities and making sure you meet all the requirements, we encourage you to ask yourself, for each skill or experience you reference, the following:
  • How am I demonstrating that I truly possess this skill? Simply stating that you have a quality isn't enough - you need to provide detailed explanations and context.
  • Have I provided a real-life example or situation that supports my claim?
  • Did I explain my actions and how I grew or improved in the roles or experiences I mentioned?
  • Why is this particular experience important to highlight? What lessons did I take away from it?
  • How does it directly connect to the responsibilities of the staff position?

When you will be able to reapply?
You may be able to reapply in a lapse of 2 weeks from now and when you made sure to meet all the staff application requirements. We encourage you to continue working on these areas and then we invite you to reapply, at which point you will have the chance to demonstrate your progress.
