Minecraft Username: Drenquire

Discord Username: drenquireyt

Age: 17

Date of Birth: Nov 26, 2007

Gender: Male

Country: United States of America

Timezone: EST

Language(s): English, partial spanish

Availability: Most weekdays after 4:00 PM EST and atleast 8 hours on weekends

Do you have the ability to record Minecraft videos? I do

Have you ever been punished on CytoNetwork? No

Why do you want to become a staff member? I love leading and guiding others and I like new challenges

Have you ever been staff on any other servers? If so, what kind of experience did you have? I have run multiple Minecraft servers and have staffed two. On one of the servers I staffed nothing much happened, and on the other I helped optimize the servers lag resistance and caught multiple hackers

If you were in a situation that you did not know how to handle, what would you do? The first thing I would do is reassess my situation. If I found that I still could not find a solution, I would ask other staff members and the owner for help.

What would you do if someone was being disrespectful towards you / others? I would politely ask them to stop, and if they didn't I would kick them due to them breaking rule 1

Do you have any disabilities? Frontal-Lobe Epilepsy (it's not triggered by flashing lights)

Do you have any other hobbies besides playing Minecraft? Piano, writing, driving, drawing, playing other video games

How many staff applications have you made prior to this one? None for this server

Commitments: I have school and am currently searching for a job

Do you have leadership skills? Yes, I lead a team called "Creators" on the server and we are well on our way to becoming the most wealthy team after only 3 days. I also lead my schools JAG group (Jobs for American Graduates)

[Scenario 1: Handling Rule Breakers] I would confirm the evidence and check logs to assure that they were there at the time of grieving, and then I would come to the solution of banning them. I would consult with another staff member to make I came up with the right solution and then I would carry out the punishment

[Scenario 2: Toxicity in Chat] I would /msg the toxic player telling them to be more polite and asking them to take this argument out of the server. I would also /msg the other person and ask them to take the argument out of the server. If neither complies, I would mute the toxic one for an hour and the other one for 15 minutes

[Scenario 3: New Player] I would welcome them and link them to the rules in the discord server, and I would tell them if they have any questions to feel free to ask

[Scenario 4: Suspected Cheating] I would first check logs for evidence of cheating. I would then go into vanish and watch them with for up to 10 minutes. If I concluded that they were cheating, I would ban them.

[Scenario 5: Ban Appeals] I would first ask if they regret their decision. Then I would ask if they would do it again. I would then ask why what they did was wrong. I would then check what exactly they said to get banned, and depending on the severity, I would possibly unban them or not. If I did unban them, I would most likely have them muted for 15-30 minutes when they start.

Why should we accept your application over others? I believe I have provided sufficient and detailed evidence as to why I would be an excellent helper

Is there anything else that you would like to add to your application? Have a good day!

Hello Drenquire!

Thank you for your interest in joining our team as staff and for taking the time to submit your application. We regret to inform you that we won't be moving forward with your candidacy at this time.

Feedback for future opportunities
You have shared several skills for the role and ideas and approaches on how to handle different situations as a staff member. However, we noticed that you are not meeting the specified requirements listed here.

For future opportunities and making sure you meet all the requirements, we encourage you to ask yourself, for each skill or experience you reference, the following:
  • How am I demonstrating that I truly possess this skill? Simply stating that you have a quality isn't enough - you need to provide detailed explanations and context.
  • Have I provided a real-life example or situation that supports my claim?
  • Did I explain my actions and how I grew or improved in the roles or experiences I mentioned?
  • Why is this particular experience important to highlight? What lessons did I take away from it?
  • How does it directly connect to the responsabilities of the staff position?

When you will be able to reapply?
You may be able to repply in a lapse of 2 weeks from now and when you made sure to meet all the staff application requirements. We encourage you to continue working on these areas and then we invite you to reapply, at which point you will have the chance to demonstrate your progress.
