Suggestion: Update to /teams
Detailed description: Here are the following updates I suggest to be added to the teams. Considering there is a menu which pops up upon /team info which shows points etc. I now suggest the suggestions:
(0) Team Seasons
-> Every 1 SMP season to include a team season
-This can be a week,2weeks,a month.
(1)Points System
-Enabling a point system for the /teams option.
What do I mean by this?
-> Allow teams to do tasks, or in-game kills, create builds , which could reward them points.
(1.1) Points System ( Amount )
- Each team to be granted points according to the following manner :
(A) EVENTS
->> Cytonetwork keeps hosting events now and then , one of the best example is the dragon event. Teams could get points based on these events. This would encourage people to participate in events even more and ultimately increase the servers active player count.
(B) BUILDS
->> Teams to be granted points for builds based on the following criteria :
a. Afk ability of the build (rates).
b. Item essentiality.
(C) KILLS
->> I am not sure here , as players can alt-farm kills to increase their points , so I leave this to the Admins.
(2) Team leader board
-> /teamleaderboard
What do I mean by this?
-> A leaderboard menu for team members to check where their teams ranks in the list of teams active on the server.
(3) Team Rewards
-> Every team at the end of a season time period gets a reward
Basis of rewards : Ranking
Eg: Team on 1st position could get gold rank for 2 weeks ( Can be adjusted according to how long the team season was).
Reason(s): The /teams option was replaced by /clan option , both of them have been here for 2 seasons.
Many times players have been arguing on which is the best team in the smp,Some are good at pvp , some are good at building.
An ideal should be one that has all ability in equal proportions.
Thereby to resolve this dispute I posted this
